Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrendPlnr (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a content planning and analytics platform for TikTok creators, accessible at trendplnr.com.

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or connecting your TikTok account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TrendPlnr. We reserve the right to update them at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Service

TrendPlnr provides creators with tools to plan, analyse, and improve their TikTok content. Features currently include:

• •Dashboard & analytics — view your synced TikTok profile statistics, video performance data, and growth trends
• •Content calendar & ideas — organise upcoming video ideas, track status, and schedule content
• •Live Trends — curated trending topics and hashtags updated regularly
• •AI Draft Analyser — upload a draft video to receive hook analysis, caption suggestions, and improvement recommendations
• •AI Content Ideas — generate content ideas tailored to your niche and voice
• •Manager mode — agencies and managers can connect multiple creator accounts with configurable permissions

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

Eligibility & Accounts

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use TrendPlnr. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep credentials secure.

One account per user

Each individual may hold one personal TrendPlnr account. Manager accounts may manage multiple creators but must represent a legitimate business or agency relationship and must comply with TikTok’s developer platform policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• •Violate any applicable law, regulation, or TikTok platform policy
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or another user’s account
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service
• •Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data from TrendPlnr beyond what is explicitly permitted by its API (if made available)
• •Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any content intended to damage, disable, or interfere with the Service
• •Harass, impersonate, or harm other users or TrendPlnr personnel
• •Use the AI features to generate content that is deceptive, harmful, illegal, or in breach of TikTok’s Community Guidelines
• •Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate limiting, access controls, or usage restrictions
• •Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own content creation and management, without our prior written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.

TikTok Integration & Third-Party Services

TikTok Login Kit & Display API

TrendPlnr integrates with TikTok’s official developer platform via Login Kit and the Display API. By connecting your TikTok account you separately agree to TikTok’s Terms of Service and Developer & API Usage Policy.

The permissions we request — profile information, stats, and video list — are used solely to power the features described in Section 2. We do not access your private messages, unpublished drafts, or any content beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

Disconnecting TikTok

You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time via the Account page or directly through TikTok’s settings. Disconnecting removes TrendPlnr’s access to your TikTok data going forward but does not automatically delete data already stored. To request deletion, see Section 13.

Third-party service availability

The functionality of TrendPlnr’s TikTok features depends on the continued availability of TikTok’s APIs. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to TikTok data and are not responsible for interruptions caused by changes to TikTok’s platform, API policies, or availability.

Intellectual Property

TrendPlnr’s IP

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, brand assets, and all content created by TrendPlnr, is owned by or licensed to TrendPlnr and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any TrendPlnr-owned content without our prior written consent.

Licence to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes. This licence does not include any right to sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs beyond your own content creation activities.

AI-generated outputs

Captions, hooks, and content ideas generated by TrendPlnr’s AI features are provided for your use. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing and for ensuring it complies with platform guidelines, applicable law, and any relevant rights of third parties. We make no claim of ownership over outputs you generate using the Service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to TrendPlnr, including draft videos, content ideas, captions, and notes (“Your Content”).

By uploading content to TrendPlnr, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not use Your Content to train AI models or share it with third parties outside the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

Draft videos uploaded for analysis are deleted from our storage immediately after processing. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit to the Service, including any third-party music, footage, or intellectual property contained within it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• •No guarantee of results — performance predictions, growth estimates, and AI recommendations are tools to inform your decisions, not guarantees of any particular outcome. TikTok content performance depends on many factors outside our control.
• •No guarantee of availability — we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• •Third-party data accuracy — statistics synced from TikTok are provided by TikTok's API and may not always reflect real-time figures. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in data returned by third-party services.
• •AI outputs — AI-generated captions, hooks, and ideas are suggestions only. We do not warrant their accuracy, originality, or suitability for your specific circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrendPlnr and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• •Loss of revenue, profit, data, or goodwill
• •Loss of or unauthorised access to your TikTok account or content
• •Decisions made based on analytics, predictions, or AI-generated content
• •Service outages, downtime, or data loss
• •Changes to TikTok’s platform, API, or policies that affect the functionality of TrendPlnr

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) £50 (fifty pounds sterling).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination

By you

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the Account settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data and stored content will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity, or if required to do so by law or by TikTok’s platform policies.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence affords you additional rights.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms under EU law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where reasonably practicable, notify you via the email address associated with your account or via an in-app notice.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
